I believe you're on the right track. Unfortunately, my research is in Social Psychology, I'm not a Biopsychologst, or a doctor/nutrionist, and I've never seen the combination of psychology and Chinese med. You're correct that our stomach can be considered the 2nd brain; more serotonin receptors are found in the stomach.

I hope you find a better work environment, or a better way to manage the toxins. Sorry I can't give you better possible ways, I hope all is well.
