Indeed. Stories are interesting because they have conflicts, they beat all the odds. Good marriages are boring, who wants to know about them? Seeing all the TV and movies, I can’t recall any depiction of a good and long marriage. This doesn’t make sense: the main characters are always from “broken families,” they have divorced themselves, and yet they find their “true love” in a bar? C’mon.

Also, when I was in a counseling program, a teacher said he felt that those people with issues seem to have a radar to find each other, be together, create more chaos, and maybe breed kids from hell. It’s sad.
