Weight management isn’t easy

I’ve written some articles about my personal journey of weight management, such as this one discussing how I keep myself in shape and this one about some little habits and “tricks” to be healthier. They are based on my personal experience, but also from certain research evidence, and therefore I believe they should help most people at least to some degree if you follow the principles.

However, I’ve found that quite a few people still give up too soon. And I still see a lot of shaming: from others, from oneself.

There are many, many factors involved in people’s weight. Of course, according to statistics, the majority of people struggle with weight loss. I’ve done a review that suggests that a person’s weight isn’t exactly about “willpower” (it’s implausible to believe nearly 40% of the world population have willpower problems).

You just have to realize that if you have a very tough time maintaining a healthy weight, you need to seek professional guidance. This is a pandemic, and the modern lifestyle and infrastructure surely don’t help at all.
